<I just remembered… when I posted Love/Tea last spring I didn’t post the other two tea haikus/haiku variations that I wrote. Here they are>
Numi Haiku
Orange honey flow-
ers drip (love), call out from cups
full of Africa.
Waiting By The Fire
(I)
Nursery rhyme kit-
0ten curls up under a quilt
of chamomile — the
(II)
fireplace beckons sleep from
lemon-mint dreamlands of sil-
-very adventure.

Oh, I feel like yours should be some sort of signature poem for a tea or coffee company… it’s like a tea blessing, hehe, and absolutely wonderful

@ mudflat – aw, that’s too bad. i’ll explain the best i can, not sure how helpful that will be though
tea is something that stirs emotions (many many different varieties) for me. writing a haiku was originally an assignment for a poetry workshop i was taking at the time, and i wrote three (the two here + Love/Tea) relating specific teas to aspects of my life/what they made me feel. kinda just a fun haiku experiment.
